Act Raiser is an amazing, unique, and underrated game that somehow manages to combine a side-scrolling platformer with a town building simulator. In this scene our hero temporarily assumes a physical form to clear the land of Fillmore from monsters and make way for the first batch of settlers. Only the Centaur stands in his way.
This scene is so exciting because the Centaur is the first boss in the game, and the reward for beating him was an entirely different play style that pushed the boundaries of gaming. If you haven't played it, I highly recommend it!
This glass-framed shadow box measures 10x12.5 inches and the viewport matches the 4:3 aspect ratio of the original scene. All of the images are printed on high-quality matte cardstock and laser cut for precision. The sprites are layered and raised to create a three-dimensional image that brings the scene to life. Pictures do not do it justice!
