In this scene from Final Fantasy III, our heros confront the maniacal villian Kefka in front of the Warring Triad statues on The Floating Continent. FF3 had so many memorable characters that it killed me to leave some of them back on the airship. But I wanted to capture some of those personalities in this scene. Here, Kefka is laughing like an idiot, Sabin is ready to pummel, Mog is ready to nap, Cyan is standing vigilant, and Shadow doesn't care much about any of this.
I know many people nowadays refer to this game as Final Fantasy 6. However, my SNES box says Final Fantasy III and that's the one I'm sticking to!
This glass-framed shadow box measures 10x12.5 inches and the viewport matches the 4:3 aspect ratio of the original scene. All of the images are printed on high-quality matte cardstock and laser cut for precision. The sprites are layered and raised to create a three-dimensional image that brings the scene to life. Pictures do not do it justice!
